
Joe Good has focused his career in criminal defense, DUI Defense, Traffic Law, and personal injury/ work place injury law for over 18 years. A trial lawyer, Mr. Good has completed trial schools at the University of South Carolina, the University of Virginia, and Harvard Law School. Joe Good was the first lawyer in South Carolina (and currently the only lawyer) to attain the National Chemical Society’s Lawyer-Scientist designation. That training which he did at the Axion Lab in Chicago, Illinois between 2020 and 2024 gave him a unique set of skills and training to utilize in the defense of drug cases and blood draw cases- specifically all levels of DUI where blood evidence was relied on by law enforcement.
Mr. Good is a past board member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a current member of the National College of DUI Defense, the DUI Defense Lawyers Association, and currently sits on the Executive Committee of the Charleston Bar Association. Mr. Good completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Standardized Field Sobriety Training, the Advanced Roadside Impairment Detection course, and has completed hundreds of hours of advanced criminal defense and traffic-related continuing education.
